TRaCE is abbreviation for Tropical Research Center. TRaCE is one institution that powered by a combination of two organization which is Pulau banding foundation (PBF) and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). We work on together to conserve and preserve the flora and fauna around Royal Belum-Temengor/Temenggor especially Pulau Banding itself. Our main purpose is focusing on researching about new species of flora and fauna that found after any expedition at Belum-Temengor/ Temenggor. Here, PBF become backbone for the institution which fully support to fulfil any requirement from UMK. UMK will fully utilise all the facilities in TRaCe to create living lab which benefit to both entities. From UMK itself, they will help Earth Science Faculty, Hospitality, Tourism and Wellness Faculty and Creative Technology & Heritage Faculty to gain extra input about all treasure in Belum-Temengor/Temenggor . From Pulau Banding, we can reach our main goal to promote research and eco-tourism through the sustainable development of the rainforest ecosystem of Belum-Temengor/Temenggor Rainforest Complex.
